Dr. Jaz
Dr. Jasmine Zapata is a double board certified physician specializing in the fields of pediatrics and public health. She is also an award-winning 7x author, radio personality, and founder of the Beyond Beautiful Girls Empowerment Movement. Her ultimate mission in life is to heal, uplift, and inspire the next generation. Dr. Zapata aka Dr Jaz started the Beyond Beautiful book series and movement to let young girls know that they have SO many inner qualities that make them unique and special in addition to their outward appearances. True beauty isn't on the outside, it's within!
Mama Jewel
Julia Saffold aka "Mama Jewel" is a beloved member of the Beyond Beautiful Girls Empowerment Team. She is also the amazing MOTHER of Dr. Jaz. and the author of "The Beyond Beautiful Treasure Box: Protecting Your Inner Treasures" which is a special addition to the Beyond Beautiful book series. This special fairytale discusses the importance of protecting your inner treasures and never letting anyone take them away from you! Mama Jewel loves working closely with the girls in our programs but also loves working with the parents and families to engage in fruitful and meaningful discussions on "Raising Diamonds That Shine."
